A ação consiste em realizar um rito funerário com as cinzas dos nomes de detentos assassinados em rebeliões durante os conflitos entre facções do narcotráfico nos presídios brasileiros. Devido à barbárie que os levaram à morte no interior dos presídios – carbonização, decapitações, esquartejamentos –, os restos mortais de alguns corpos não chegaram sequer a serem identificados pelo Estado, muito menos reconhecidos e sepultados por suas famílias. Para realizar o rito funerário incinero uma lista com os nomes das vítimas para, posteriormente, fumar suas cinzas misturadas ao cigarro de maconha. Se durante o rito a fumaça espalha os nomes, as cinzas que restam após o ato, se transformam em vestígios do esquecimento.

The action consists in leaving traces of ashes resulting from a "funeral ritual" in which I use the ashes of names of killed detainees during rebellions led by factions of drug trafficking in Brazil. Because of the barbarism that led them to death - carbonization, beheadings, quarterings - the remains of some bodies were not even identified by the state, nor even recognized and buried by their families. To perform the "funeral ritual," I incinerate the names of the victims and later smoke their ashes mixed with the marijuana cigarette.
